Leia & Camryn Making Kugel with Brussel Sprouts Main dishes Ingredients: 15 potatoes (Yukon recommended) 3 eggs 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil 1/2 tsp garlic salt 1/2 tsp sea salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tbs marjoran 1/3 cup shredded mixed cheese Variations: 1 optional ingredient added at a time 1 cup shredded zuccini for zuccini kugl etc. 1 cup shredded asparagus 1 cup broccoli mixed with cauliflower 1 cup shredded sweet potatoes 1 cup brussel sprouts quatered or roughly shredded or any other vegetable of your choice Directions: © Turn on the owen on 350 .Shred potatoes rough and squeeze juice out into separate dish.Meantime pour oil in baking dish and when hot pour it over potatoes and mix. Stir in the rest of the ingredients and mix it.Work fast so potato won’t get dark. Add one of the optional ingredients, mix it and pour mixture into hot baking dish to get nice crispy crust.Bake approximately for 1 hour or until crust is nice golden brown. Could be served as a main dish or appetizer. Number Of Servings: 18 Preparation Time: 1 hour

DESSERTS Papa’sFavorite ” NUGAT CAKE” recipe Bottom -base: 5 Eggs 5 Tbs powdered sugar 5 Tbs flour 1 Tsp baking powder pinch of salt 1 Tbs flour & PAM spray for baking pan Optional ingredients: 2 Tbs Orange juice 2 Tbs Olive oil 1Tbs Seltzer In the mixer mix eggs, sugar & salt until you get a peak.At this point reduce the speed to minimum and add optional ingredients if you choose to make it more moist. Then start folding in the flour mixed with baking powder.When all is incorporated pour the mixture into sprayed & floured baking pan and bake in preheated oven at 375F approximately for 45 min.Let it cool off.Check with toothpick if it’s not sticking. Jelly or jam topping Any jelly or jam of your choice . Just spread it in evenly in a thin layer over cold cake base. Walnut topping 14 oz condensed sweetened milk 28 oz ground walnuts Just mix together & spread over first layer. Nugat topping 3 Eggs 5 Tbs powdered sugar 3 Tbs coffee liquid 3 Tbs cocoa powder 8 oz butter or Earth balance Premix eggs & sugar in the mixer and transfer to the bowl over steam bath constantly stirring.Mix together coffee & cocoa in a cup and add to the eggs as they start thickening. Let it completely cool off.When cold, transfer mixture into mixer ,add butter & mix until you have nice smooth creamy texture.Pour it over walnut topping , spread evenly & place in the refrigerator. Chocolate topping 4 oz dark chocolate 4 oz
