We were iced/snowed in that day, so we made do Mother Nature & made the best of the day indoors. Since we’re in North Texas we’re not exactly equipped for 2-4 inches of ice on the roads & snow. We kept loosing our electricity on/off all through-out the day. I think the power companies were rolling the power & if I’m not mistaken we set a record for most electricity used that day in DFW. Guess that’s what happens when NO ONE can leave their houses. Jacelyn’s BFF’s called to wish her a Happy Birthday, Nathan & Tori (Lisa’s Kids). Then we proceeded forward with what she had been waiting on ALL DAY…baking chocolate chip cookies! The kids NEVER get cookies much less anything chocolate so it was a HUGE treat for them both! I think that was Kacen’s first cookie ever… She even got to pick out what she wanted for lunch which she picked a cheese/bacon pasta meal, the kids gobbled it up! Jacelyn got to open up her birthday gift at 1:02 pm when she was born on 2-2. She got a movie, Despicable Me (never seen it before) as her birthday gift. (We kept her big present aside for her birthday party on a later date. After these videos were made we watched Despicable Me together as a family in the living room & then laid down for LONG wintery nap ![]()
